Bio

As of March 20th 2007:

I am a graduate student at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I'm currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science. I'm planning on graduating in May 2008, after which I hope to move out to the Seattle area and get a job in software development.

During the summers of 2005 and 2006 I had two amazing internships at Amazon.com. The first summer I worked with a team that helped support third-party websites managed by Amazon. The second summer I worked on the S3 team, part of the Amazon Web Services division. I learned a lot, and fell in love with the Seattle area while there.

During this coming summer of 2007 I'll be interning with Microsoft in Redmond, WA, as part of the Terminal Server team. I'm looking forward to having a fantastic time, meeting a lot of smart people, and learning a whole heck of a lot.

Web design has been a hobby of mine since I was in junior high. This website is partially a technical exercise, partially a way for me to access my favorite links from other computers, partially a vent for my occasional artistic inspirations, but has mostly become a place for me to vent. I implemented the entire backend, including the blogging engine, in Ruby on Rails. Previous versions of the website were implemented in PHP 4.
